Learning through play

In a 71-place day nursery and pre-school, it’s important to find the right balance between learning and play.  Especially with a range of children from 3 months to 8 years!

At Twizzle Lodge, we’ll give your child a caring environment where they can achieve their full potential.  And feel valued, secure and happy.

We think that playing is the best way to learn.  Play helps children to think and understand.  It builds their creativity and improves their language, literacy and basic skills.

Our nursery syllabus runs in line with the government’s “Early Learning Policy”.  Each day sees activities designed to develop your child’s skills, knowledge and understanding of the world.

Naturally, you won’t want to miss out on your child’s development.  So we’ll create a folder that presents you with their achievements, including photographs and samples of their creative play.  It’s a souvenir of their time here, one you can treasure for years to come.

We’ll see to it that your child will love coming to nursery.  We’ll make sure they take delight in their day…

They’ll even tell you about it when they get home!
